About Motiva Preservé

Motiva Preservé is a specialized procedure that can elevate the fullness of the breasts using tailored breast implants and less invasive measures. This procedure is a variation of traditional breast augmentation, but when performing it, Dr. Hunsicker avoids placing incisions beyond the initial one. By doing so, she can help you achieve your aesthetic goals while maintaining the movements, sensations, and function of your organic breast tissues.

What Type of Breast Implants Are Used?

Dr. Hunsicker performs Motiva Preservé using the Motiva SmoothSilk Ergonomix breast implants, which are silicone gel-filled breast implants. (1) When inserted into the body, they can adapt their shape as your body changes position. (2) This means that they will appear tear-shaped when you stand up and round when you are lying down, imitating that of your natural breasts.

Benefits

Motiva Preservé offers several benefits that you can enjoy when undergoing this procedure yourself. They include:

  • Preservéd Breast Anatomy: Motiva Preservé refrains from cutting the underlying breast tissues, maintaining the health and integrity of your breast’s tissues and structures.
  • Less Invasive Nature: This approach maintains the functionality of your nipples, chest muscles, breast tissues, and more—allowing you to attain your aesthetic goals without worries or fears.
  • Natural-Feeling Results: Dr. Hunsicker uses SmoothSilk Ergonomix implants, which adapt to the movements of your organic breast tissues and the position of your body.
  • A Reduced Recovery Time: Many women can return to light activities within days, which is much shorter compared to that of a traditional breast augmentation.
  • Lasting Results: The results of Motiva Preservé can last between 10 and 15 years, making it a worthwhile investment for many patients.
  • Tailored Solutions: Dr. Hunsicker customizes each procedure according to her patient’s unique anatomy and ideal aesthetic to ensure results that flatter their figure.

Candidates

You may be an ideal candidate for Motiva Preservé if you already have shapely and full breasts, but want to add volume to the upper poles of your breasts to subtly improve their sculpt and cleavage. It is also important that you want to place your implants in front of your pectoralis muscle, which is also known as subglandular placement. (3)

To undergo this procedure, you should be in good general health and hold realistic expectations regarding your results. You should not be breastfeeding or pregnant, nor should you have any plans to be. You should also be nonsmoking or willing to quit using nicotine entirely.

Personal Consultation

Dr. Hunsicker heavily customizes each Motiva Preservé procedure, which is why we ask that you attend a personal consultation. During your visit, she will meet with you and review your medical history, take time to learn about your concerns, and establish realistic aesthetic goals. She will also thoroughly evaluate your anatomy, breast composition, breast shape, and skin quality, and take careful measurements of your breasts.

Using this information, Dr. Hunsicker will finalize your candidacy and begin formulating your treatment plan. She will explain your options to you, decide where to place the incision, and help you choose a suitable pair of implants. She will also take the time to answer your questions to ensure you feel comfortable and confident with the treatment plan the two of you have established.

If you are ready to schedule this treatment, please contact us online or call (720) 283-2500 to reach the front desk of our Littleton office.

Preparation

Once you schedule your procedure, you will need to begin making certain lifestyle changes to ensure you are prepared. Dr. Hunsicker and her team will provide you with written instructions that will help optimize your procedure, recovery, and results.

Under the proper medical guidance, you will need to discontinue taking blood-thinning medications and supplements. You will need to arrange reliable transportation home after your procedure, and some time away from your professional and personal responsibilities. If applicable, you will also need to abstain from consuming nicotine or alcohol.

Procedure

Dr. Hunsicker performs Motiva Preservé on an outpatient basis. When you arrive, you will be led to a private treatment room, where your skin will be cleansed. You will then receive the appropriate level of anesthesia to ensure your comfort.

Dr. Hunsicker will place a small incision that extends beneath the inframammary fold, or the crease found beneath your breasts. She will use a Motiva Channel Separator to create a tunnel deeper into the chest without needing to incise any tissue. She will insert and inflate the Motiva Inflatable Balloon tool to gently push your breast tissues aside and create a pocket for your implants to rest in above the pectoralis muscle (subglandular placement). Dr. Hunsicker will then gently place the breast implants into the chest using a Keller funnel before closing the incisions and dressing the region to protect it.

Recovery

One of Motiva Preservé’s most unique benefits is its short recovery time, which is supported by Dr. Hunsicker’s Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol. Many of Dr. Hunsicker’s former patients have felt well enough to return to light tasks as early as the day after their procedure. However, you will need to refrain from heavy lifting or participating in demanding activities for at least two weeks, or until Dr. Hunsicker has cleared you to return.

As you heal, you may experience some swelling, bruising, or tenderness. These effects will dissipate on their own, but you may manage them by using approved medications, wearing a supportive bra, and getting plenty of rest. Dr. Hunsicker will also provide Exparel, which is a long-lasting non-opioid anesthetic that can keep you comfortable as you heal.

Dr. Hunsicker recommends integrating gentle movements and light walks into your routine as soon as you feel comfortable. By doing so, you can increase circulation to the healing regions and prevent blood clots from forming.

You will receive a full set of aftercare instructions to guide you through each phase of your recovery. By following them as written, you will be able to achieve a smooth and quick return to your routine.

Results

You will be able to notice an immediate difference in your chest, but your results will continue to refine themselves over the following few months. As they do, you will be able to enjoy a subtle improvement in the fullness and definition of your breasts, and enhancements that seamlessly move with your organic breast tissues.

The results of Motiva Preservé are long-lasting, with effects that you can appreciate for over a decade. Although, breast implants are not lifetime devices, which means you will need to eventually need to replace them.

Cost of Motiva Preservé in Denver, Colorado

The cost of your procedure will vary depending on a combination of factors, including the exact breast implants you receive and the extent of your procedure. Once Dr. Hunsicker has met with you to establish each detail of your treatment plan, she will provide you with an inclusive pricing estimate.

Revalla additionally offers financing for those who are interested.
