Pre-Care Instructions
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. This is especially important on the day of your injection.
Avoid fatty foods 12 hours before your injection.
Post-Care Instructions
Continue to avoid taking NSAIDs. You may take Tylenol as directed for any discomfort.
Limit alcohol and smoking in the days following your injection. Avoid using a tampon immediately after.
Avoid engaging in sexual activity for 24 hours or longer if soreness persists. Do not participate in strenuous activity for the next few days.
