Vaginal Rejuvenation Overview
Consultation
When you’re ready to enhance your intimacy with vaginal restoration in Littleton, CO, schedule your consultation at Revalla. Dr. Hunsicker will inquire about your goals and medical history, and answer any questions you have.
Treatment
To begin, you will have a small amount of blood drawn, then process it in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. She will numb the treatment area, then inject the isolated PRP.
Results
Your results will appear over the course of 2 to 3 months as you complete your treatment course. You may feel sore after the injections. This is normal and will fade over a few days.

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. This is especially important on the day of your injection.
Avoid fatty foods 12 hours before your injection.
Post-Care Instructions
Continue to avoid taking NSAIDs. You may take Tylenol as directed for any discomfort.
Limit alcohol and smoking in the days following your injection. Avoid using a tampon immediately after.
Avoid engaging in sexual activity for 24 hours or longer if soreness persists. Do not participate in strenuous activity for the next few days.
The number of treatments you receive varies from patient to patient. We typically provide O-Shots in a treatment series for vaginal restoration in Littleton, CO. You can receive up to 3 shots as recommended by your provider.
A good candidate is any woman in good health who is experiencing the following:
- Low libido
- Vaginal dryness
- Difficulty achieving orgasm
- Urinary incontinence
The O-Shot™, which is made from PRP, is safe for most patients when administered by a medical professional. Because it is derived from your own blood, PRP limits the risk of allergic reactions and immune responses. It is minimally invasive and involves Dr. Hunsicker injecting a small amount of PRP into the target area.
