Pre-Care Instructions
Limit your exposure to harsh sunlight for 2 to 4 weeks before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup and oils.
Inform your provider if you’re taking any medication. We recommend consulting with your primary care physician before you stop taking prescribed medication.
Post-Care Instructions
For 2 to 4 weeks after your session, gently wash the treatment area with unscented soap and lukewarm water.
Continue to limit your exposure to sunlight. Stay hydrated to keep your skin healthy.
Avoid tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools, or any environment that could irritate your skin.

- Light Peels: A light or superficial peel can remove the outermost layer of skin, called the dermis. We can perform a chemical peel every 4 to 6 weeks. A light peel is the most gentle of our peels, resulting in minimal discomfort and no downtime.
- Deep Peels: A deep chemical peel can remove skin cells much deeper within the dermis than a light peel. Because of this peel’s powerful results, we can only perform one every 6 to 12 months. It also results in more intense discomfort and 1 to 2 weeks of downtime.
