Pre-Care Instructions
Drink plenty of water before your appointment. We recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment as it can increase your chances of bruising.
Avoid taking blood thinners and NSAIDs. We recommend consulting with your primary care physician about any prescription medications you’re taking.
Post-Care Instructions
You may resume your at-home skincare routine as advised by your provider. Avoid applying make-up for the first few hours after your treatment to minimize irritation.
Limit strenuous exercise or activities that may cause you to sweat for 24 hours. Keep your face elevated for at least 4 hours following your treatment.
Avoid saunas, hot tubs, or any place with steam. Do not rub or apply pressure to the injection site. Avoid taking blood thinners and NSAIDs following your treatment. Refrain from wearing hats for 24 hours after injection.
Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that temporarily reduces moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows and forehead, and around the eyes. Your provider will administer low doses of Botox® Cosmetic directly into the muscles that cause common wrinkles. Within a week or so, you will notice a reduction in these wrinkles. These results should last up to 4 months.
When skillfully administered by one of our expert providers, Botox® reduces wrinkles and brightens your appearance. You can still use your full range of facial expressions.
Following your treatment, you can return to most daily activities. You may experience slight bruising and/or swelling in the injection site. You can use ice packs in moderation to ease side effects. Refrain from exercise or lying flat for at least 6 to 8 hours after treatment. You may notice a significant reduction in wrinkle lines within a week. Your results can last from 3 to 4 months.
