We schedule your preoperative visit 2 weeks before surgery.

You will receive a surgical care package containing a green smoothie recipe, protein drinks, probiotics, scar cream, and Hibiclens surgical scrub to support your recovery.
Surgery & Follow-Up
Please arrive 2 hours before your surgery to allow for easy check-in.
Post-surgery, we will prescribe antibiotics and medications to support healing and manage discomfort. Dr. Hunsicker and her team will check in with you the following day to assess your recovery. Additional follow-up visits are scheduled at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year to maintain comprehensive postoperative care.

To prevent strain on your incisions, avoid lifting, pushing, or pulling anything over 10 lbs for at least 6 weeks. Also, refrain from lifting your arms, sleeping on your stomach or sides, and engaging in physical activities during recovery.
Recovery takes time. Attend all scheduled follow-up visits. Expect initial bruising and swelling.
